Picking up the players from the MDL Philippines champion team Onic X Nine Lives, the Kristoffer Bon Chan Ricaplaza-mentored squad swept its first two assignments in the season.
The team first pulled off a stunning upset of powerhouse Team Falcons with a 2-0 sweep before proving it was no fluke with a 2-1 victory over AP.Bren to take a 2-0 slate.
Last season bridesmaid finishers Onic Philippines is likewise undefeated in the first week though it only had one game – a Grand Finals rematch against defending champion Team Liquid PH.
The Super Family completed a 2-0 sweep of the Cavalry in the contest that was highlighted by the two teams' topnotch mechanical prowess and superb macro gameplays.
It wasn't too long for TLPH to find itself in the win column as it immediately bounced back with a 2-0 win over TNC Pro Team for a 1-1 slate through the first three days of action.
AP.Bren was also in a similar standing after opening their campaign with a 2-1 decision over Omega Esports before dropping the game against Twisted Minds. Omega had earlier barged into the win column with a 2-1 win over TNC in the opening day for another 1-1 slate.
Falcon Esports also sports an identical 1-1 card when it blanked Aurora, 2-0, before receiving the upset axe against TWIS.
Aurora (0-1) and TNC (0-2) are the only teams that have yet to enter the win column.
The MPL Season continues with its second week with Twisted Minds trying to pass the acid tests against Omega and Team Liquid and keep its record pristine.
