SKY HIGH Aire 32, The Westin Manila’s alfresco rooftop bar, crowns the hotel’s 32nd floor with sweeping city views, Spanish soul, and a menu of tapas and cocktails.
Picture this: a refreshing cocktail in one hand, pica pica thoughtfully curated by chef Chele Gonzales in the other, the city skyline spread out before you, and a chic, well-designed space that sets the tone for an unforgettable night. This is Aire 32, The Westin Manila’s newly opened alfresco rooftop bar.
Perched 32 floors above Ortigas, Aire 32 officially opened on August 15, 2025. The stylish venue serves up sweeping skyline views and a curated menu of drinks and specialty cocktails, all designed with sustainability and wellbeing in mind.
“Pronounced as ai-re—meaning air in Spanish—it is an extension of our existing Spanish restaurant,” said Alexander Dietzsch, general manager of The Westin Manila. “This space is designed for social experiences rooted in conscious connection and balance. Every drink is a toast to life, a celebration of family and friends, complemented by relaxing views and comfort food.”
The rooftop spot is envisioned as a venue for life’s milestones, whether intimate weddings, private parties, or special gatherings. It can host up to 75 guests, with another 20 in the private dining area. The elegant bar, with its textured finishes and curved forms, is a design statement on its own.

The launch brought together notable names including JG Summit chairman James Go, Robinsons Land president Mybelle Aragon-GoBio, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts vice president and general manager Barun Jolly, Marriott International multi-property vice president Bruce Winton, and many more.
“This new al fresco bar is an exciting addition to RLC's growing presence in the food and beverage scene, as well as a testament to The Westin Manila's focus and dedication to inspiring the community to live life in balance,” shared Mybelle. “Everything on the menu is crafted with consciousness and built around a clear and straightforward premise: a commitment to sustainability and innovation—all of which are core to Robinsons Land Corporation’s ethos and values. Aire 32 marks the final stage of completion for The Westin Manila, a successful collaboration between Robinsons Hotels and Resorts and Marriott International.”

Guests enjoyed cocktail pairings by chefs Chele Gonzales and Álvaro Romero-Abreu Raya, who curated an inspired tapas-style dining experience. “For Aire 32, we have something more pica pica, more tapas, and small bites. I think it goes very well with the space and of course with a Spanish soul,” chef Chele shared.
Some of these small plates even drew from off-the-menu specials at Cantabria by Chele Gonzalez, The Westin’s Spanish restaurant known for authentic flavors from Spain’s northern coast.

Standouts included the Croquetas Chili Crab Con Mayonesa de Lima—a creamy crab croquette with lime mayonnaise that melts in your mouth—paired with the Tropical Tiki, a mix of Planetary Dark Rum, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, jackfruit purée, pineapple juice, and pandan syrup.
Another favorite, Pescadito Frito (fried grouper and tuna with aioli), came with the Rumba de Piña, blending rum, Campari, pineapple, and calamansi. But the pairing that won me over was the Patatas Bravas—crispy marbled potatoes with Spanish-style tomato, spicy sauces, and aioli—served alongside the Midnight Bloom, a refreshing mix of Tried and True Vodka, Ratafia Rossi, blackberry syrup, lemon juice, and fresh basil.

“Our carefully curated drink collection includes low-alcohol cocktails for conscious consumption. Other unique offerings include well-balanced mocktails that are both relaxing and uplifting,” added Alexander. “Our selection includes spirits without artificial additives, sourced from small producers who prioritize quality over large-scale production.”
He continued, “We believe that utilizing surplus ingredients, local produce and flavors, and artisanal drinks is a starting point for creativity, imagination, and community collaboration. Our cocktails are crafted with intention, bringing out the flavorful harmony when the brightness and character of local ingredients meet the body of a good quality spirit.”
With Aire 32’s opening, The Westin Manila completes its lifestyle offering—a perfect blend of dining, design, and elevated experiences, all set against the vibrant backdrop of the Ortigas skyline.
