Cebu Pacific to start direct flights in October

One of Palawan's highly sought-after destinations these days is the tranquil spot of El Nido.
There are no surprises there, as El Nido serves as a beautiful reminder of why Palawan remains the last frontier of the Philippines. Beginning Oct. 26, Cebu Pacific will begin offering daily flights between El Nido and Cebu. Just imagine spending time marveling over the limestone cliffs and white sand beaches before going on an island-hopping adventure or exploring lagoons by kayak. 
“El Nido has long been one of the country’s most sought-after destinations, and soon it will be more accessible to those flying from Cebu and nearby provinces," shares Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao. "By adding this route ahead of the holiday season, we are not only strengthening inter-island connectivity but also creating more opportunities for every Juan to discover the best of the Philippines."
Other iconic destinations in Palawan you can fly out to from Cebu include Coron (Busuanga), Port Barton (San Vicente), and Puerto Princesa. Meanwhile, those from Palawan considering visiting Cebu will find that Cebu is also home to must-see sights. Aside from chowing down on Cebu lechon, travelers can also visit heritage sites like Magellan's Cross and Mactan Shrine. 
Cebu Pacific currently flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
