Collector dies after truck runs over him in Quezon

GUINAYANGAN, Quezon – A 20-year-old lending collector was killed after a truck ran over him while driving a motorcycle in Barangay San Luis II here on Tuesday night, Aug. 26.
Police said the victim Lex was driving towards Bicol direction when his motorcycle slipped and bumped the tire of a truck.
The truck ran over him and the victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead. The truck driver was unharmed and arrested by responding lawmen.
The suspect faced appropriate cases but he and the victim’s family have reached an amicable settlement.
