CEU earns a new top spot in the World University Rankings for Innovation

Centro Escolar University (CEU) has once again proven its unwavering commitment to innovation and academic excellence, earning an overall ranking of 259 in the 2025 Global Top 400 Innovative Universities released by the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).
Further underscoring its achievements, CEU landed within the top 100 in three major categories; 10th in Empowerment-Based Management; 42nd in Student Mobility and Openness; and 44th in Visionary Leadership.
The University’s participation in the WURI rankings was spearheaded by Dr. Teresa R. Perez, Senior VP for Academic Affairs; Dr. Erna V. Yabut, VP for Research, Innovation, and Institutional Development; and Dr. Rhoda Aguilar, University registrar. Moreover, this achievement is the result of the collective contributions of the entire CEU community.
The World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) offers a fresh and forward-looking approach to evaluating higher education institutions. CEU’s inclusion in this prestigious list affirms its growing reputation as a progressive, socially responsive, and future-ready university dedicated to shaping the next generation of leaders and innovators.
