Woman kills man who hacked her husband to death

TAYSAN, Batangas – A man was gunned down by his drinking buddy who was hacked to death by the victim’s wife afterwards in retaliation in Barangay San Marcelino here on Sunday night.
Police identified the victim as Reymark Bagon.
Bagon and the suspect, Amado, were having a drinking session when a heated argument ensued.
Amado drew a gun and shot the victim in the chest and abdomen. Bagon died on the spot.
Lyn, the victim’s wife, witnessed the incident, grabbed a bladed weapon and hacked the suspect multiple times in the body. He died on the spot.
Lawmen recovered two fired cartridge cases and a .38 caliber revolver in the crime scene.
Lyn was arrested and in the custody of the Taysan police.
Meanwhile, a bank employee was hit and killed by a truck while crossing a road in Barangay Antipolo del Norte, Lipa City, Batangas, on Monday morning.
The Lipa City police said the victim died on the spot from serious injuries.
The truck driver surrendered. Authorities are investigating the accident.
