K-drama 'Reply 1988' actress Lee Se-young reveals expensive plastic surgery
Korean comedian and actress Lee Se-young, 36, who appeared in the hit Korean drama series “Reply 1988,” talked about her expensive plastic surgery.
Lee Se-young played the role of a classmate of Deok-sun (played by Hyeri) in “Reply 1988,” one of the most popular Korean dramas of all time.
She was a guest on a YouTube channel and discussed her experience getting breast fillers and implants, and plastic surgery which changed her appearance.
Lee Se-young said for plastic surgery and breast augmentation, she spent the same amount as a Mercedes-Benz car, which was over 100 million won (about $72,000 or P4 million). The procedures included double eyelid surgery and nose job.
"I've lived with the same face for over 20 years, so I wanted to live the rest of my life with a different face," she said.
Before, she said she spent 10 million won (about $7,200) for breast fillers. However, when she bumped a barbell while working out, one side of her chest sagged and she ended up having it scraped.
She decided to have breast implants that transformed her cup size from A to D.
"I'm personally satisfied," she said. "When I go to a pool party, it's crazy. My personal satisfaction is the best. When I take my top off, women go, 'Wow.'"
Lee Se-young said she wanted to get more surgery but she’s afraid it would hinder her work as a comedian.
“There are still areas I want to get plastic surgery on. I want to tighten or shave them. But I'm worried that if I do any more, I might not be able to be a real comedian. I'll have to give up pig noses and voice impressions,” she said.
