Michelin Guide adds 9 more Philippine hotels to its recommended list

There are now 20 Michelin-worthy hotels to enjoy nationwide

If you're curious where to book your stays, the Michelin Guide just added nine more hotels from the Philippines to its recommendations list. 
This brings up the list of Michelin-worthy hotels in the Philippines to 20. Here are the nine hotels that have joined the prestigious list. 
Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort
Address: Punta Engaño Road, Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan, Cebu, Philippines
Based on the Michelin Guide's description, the hotel is held in high regard for its mix of Filipino warmth and Thai hospitality. Mentioned as well are the infinity pool design and the balconies for sunset watching. Another bonus is its proximity to the Cebu-Mactan Airport.
The Funny Lion El Nido
Address: Balinsasayaw Road, El Nido, El Nido, Philippines
There's much to enjoy from The Funny Lion El Nido aside from the immaculate view of El Nido's limestone cliffs. Over 50 designer rooms make up the cozy space, and the guide brings up the not-to-be-missed all-day restaurant serving fresh seafood along with its extensive menu.
Grand Hyatt Manila
Address: 8th Avenue corner 35th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Manila, Philippines
Over 461 rooms make up the enchanting beauty of the Grand Hyatt Manila. Not to be missed is the immersive dinner experience offered by The Peak, where Le Petit Chef takes you on a culinary journey. Plus, the rooms give a grand view of Bonifacio Global City. 
The Lind Boracay
Address: Station 1, Barangay Balabag, Boracay Island, Philippines
Direct access to Station 1's beachfront and the design of the rooms are key traits listed in the Michelin Guide's recommendation. The Lind Boracay's attention to room design and hospitality is also mentioned. 
City of Dreams - Nobu Hotel Manila
Address: City of Dreams Manila Aseana Blvd, cor Diosdado Macapagal Blvd, Parañaque, Paranaque, Philippines
City of Dreams is already a hotspot in itself, being part of the Entertainment City. But apart from the glamor of the casino life, Nobu Hotel Manila shines for its Japanese aesthetic. And, of course, the main draw is the Nobu restaurant itself, well-known for its omakase dinner.
NUSTAR Hotel Cebu
Address: Kawit Island, Cebu, Philippines
Nothing beats the view from the rooms offered, whether it's the seascape or skyline. Plus, direct access to a shopping mall adds to the list of benefits for staying here. The Michelin Guide also recommends stopping by the Good Luck Hot Pot and Mott 32 restaurants during your stay. 
Piece Lio, El Nido
Address: Piece Lio, Lio Tourism Estate, El Nido, Philippines
Minimalism shines in this Japanese architecture-inspired establishment. Piece Lio's keen attention to keeping sustainable practices is what makes most of the list. Plus, the easy access to El Nido's natural beauty.
Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort
Address: Punta Engaño Road, Mactan Island Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan, Philippines
The Michelin Guide describes Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort as "the perfect base for exploring Cebu’s beaches and cultural sites." Other special mentions include its six-room spa, kids’ club, watersports, and pool. Guests can also enjoy the dining options by checking out Dip for Nikkei cuisine and Buhi Cave Bar for its Mediterranean dishes. 
The Westin Manila
