Lynk & Co Philippines has officially launched the 08 EM-P, a premium plug-in hybrid SUV. First previewed at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show, the 08 EM-P was formally unveiled on August 14, 2025, and is now listed in the Department of Energy’s database as an accredited plug-in hybrid vehicle.

The 08 EM-P combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a permanent magnet synchronous motor through the brand’s 3DHT Evo plug-in hybrid system. This configuration delivers a combined output of 381-PS (280 kW) and 615-Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to accelerate from zero to 100-km/h in just 6.5-seconds. A 39.6-kWh ternary lithium-ion battery powers the electric drive, providing the 08 EM-P with a pure electric range of 205 km under the WLTP cycle and a total hybrid range of 1,400-km. The battery supports both AC and DC charging, with DC fast charging capable of replenishing 30% to 80% in under 30 minutes.

Measuring nearly five meters in length, 1.9 meters in width, and 1.6 meters in height, the 08 EM-P rides on 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion tires. Its “Next-Day” design language is accentuated by Adaptive Matrix LED headlamps with daytime running lights, Energy Cube LED tail lamps, frameless windows, and a panoramic tinted sunroof with UV protection.

Inside, the cabin seamlessly integrates technology and comfort. A 15.4-inch Ultra HD infotainment display offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a Harman Kardon system that includes 23 speakers with headrest units. Nappa leather seats are equipped with massage, ventilation, and heating functions for the driver and front passenger, while the rear seats recline for added comfort. The vehicle also features a tri-zone climate control system and a spacious interior layout.

The SUV is equipped with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS-2) supported by an 18-point suite. These include Adaptive Cruise Control with Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Driver Attention Monitoring, and a 540-degree camera system that provides an all-around view with a transparent chassis function.

Priced from ₱2,498,000, the 08 EM-P is backed by an eight-year or 200,000-kilometer battery warranty, a seven-year or 150,000-kilometer vehicle warranty, and two years of free periodic maintenance service. Local buyers can choose from three exterior colors: Raw Zircon, Fluid Grey, and Mineral Green.

Alongside the launch of the 08 EM-P, Lynk & Co also introduced limited-time sales promotions on other models, valid until September 30, 2025. These include low monthly amortization options and cash discounts, such as ₱21,000 per month for the 06 Origin SE SUV or up to ₱410,000 off the 03+ Sport Sedan. Other models included in the campaign are the 01 PHEV, 02 E-SUV, 05 AWD Fastback, and 06 Hyper Halo SUV. All promotions are available across authorized Lynk & Co dealerships nationwide, subject to standard terms and bank approval.
