Las Piñas City Mayor April Aguilar attended the caravan held on Friday, Aug. 22, at the St. Joseph Court in Pulanglupa Dos in celebration of Family Planning Month. The City Health Office, headed by Dr. Juliana Gonzalez, led the event.
Aside from promoting responsible parenthood, the mayor said the caravan also aims to strengthen public awareness of reproductive health.
The caravan provided free consultations, family planning counseling, and access to modern contraceptives for couples and individuals.
Aguilar discussed the importance of proper birth spacing, maternal health, and child welfare during the caravan.
The mayor also said the city government wanted to empower parents and couples with the right knowledge so they can plan their families better and secure a healthier future for their children.
The initiative is also part of the city government’s continuing efforts to promote public health and ensure that every Las Piñero family has access to comprehensive reproductive health services.
