Animal abuse: Another dog injured by dart arrow in Negros Occidental
Another dog was injured by a dart arrow in Murcia, Negros Occidental, according to the animal welfare group Bach Project PH.
The incident was shared via their official social media page on Sunday, Aug. 24.
“This poor dog was hit so close to his heart that it could have ended his life on the spot,” the group said.
The injured dog is currently receiving emergency treatment at Barksite Animal Clinic here.
The arrow caused severe trauma, and his condition remains critical, the group said, as they appealed for prayers and donations to help fund the dog’s urgent medical needs.
“He didn’t deserve this cruelty. He deserves a chance to live,” they said.
This attack comes just six months after two other dogs, named Buldog and Tiktok, were rescued after suffering similar injuries from dart attacks in the same town in February.
The group shared that Tiktok has made a full recovery, and recently participated in the Athlerun Pawtection Run 2025, where she crossed the finish line “with the biggest smile.”
“Tiktok is a brave 'aspin' that was stabbed five times with Indian arrows and left fighting for his life. Her journey is living proof that second chances are worth fighting for,” Bach Project PH said.
