Geely Philippines is putting two of its latest models on display this August, with the purely electric Geely EX5 and the Geely Okavango Elite set to headline the brand’s New EnerGeely mall tour. The showcase's last visit will be at the SM Mall of Asia from August 28 to September 3.
The EX5 was formally launched in the Philippines on June 30, marking Geely Motor Philippines Corporation’s entry into the full-electric segment. With rising fuel prices and growing interest in sustainable transport, the timing highlights the brand’s commitment to supporting the shift to electric mobility in the country.

The EX5 is a compact electric SUV built around Geely’s new short-blade lithium-iron phosphate battery technology. This system is designed to maximize usable energy and extend driving range. According to the company, a full charge takes about six hours using standard charging, while a fast charger can replenish 30 to 80 percent of the battery in 20 minutes. The vehicle’s 60.22 kWh battery is rated for a WLTP range of 425 kilometers on a single charge.
Performance figures show a maximum output of 160 kW and 320 Nm of torque, which allows the EX5 to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.1 seconds. Geely also equipped the model with its 11-in-1 Intelligent Electric Drive System to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
Alongside the EX5, the mall tour will also highlight the Okavango Elite. The three-row SUV is positioned as a versatile family vehicle, with a focus on interior space and comfort. Features include leather seating, a three-zone climate control system, and a cabin layout designed for both daily commuting and longer journeys. The model is also now eligible for green plates, reflecting its compliance with eco-conscious vehicle standards in the country.
The Geely EX5 Max is priced at ₱1,799,000 while the Okavango Elite is offered at ₱1,368,000. Geely is also running a promotion where buyers of the EX5 Max will receive a free Meizu Note 22 smartphone for purchases made until September 25, 2025. Both models are available through Geely’s nationwide dealership network.
