Bus catches fire along P. Tuazon Blvd. near EDSA

A bus caught fire along the westbound lane of P. Tuazon Boulevard, just before the Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue (EDSA) intersection on Saturday, Aug. 23, causing heavy traffic in the area.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) immediately responded to the scene.
Firefighters and traffic enforcers worked together to put out the blaze and ease the congestion caused by the incident.
Authorities have yet to confirm whether any injuries were reported or to determine the cause of the fire.
Motorists were advised to take alternate routes while clearing operations were ongoing.
