Batangas bettor wins P386-M UltraLotto 6/58 jackpot — PCSO

A lone bettor from Batangas became an instant multi-millionaire after winning the P386.1-million jackpot prize in the UltraLotto 6/58 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.
The PCSO, on Saturday, August 23, announced that the winning ticket, worth an exact jackpot amount of P386,153,104.80, was purchased at a lotto outlet along National Road, Barangay Bolbok, Batangas City.

During the 9 p.m. draw on August 22, the bettor correctly guessed the winning combination 01-34-44-27-57-16 for UltraLotto 6/58.
Under existing tax laws, lotto winnings above P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax, which will be deducted before the prize is released.
The PCSO reminded the public that winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize.
The agency also urged the jackpot winner to keep their winning ticket safe, sign it at the back, and proceed to the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City to process the claim.
UltraLotto 6/58, one of PCSO’s most popular major draws, is held every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, offering millions in prizes.
Aside from the jackpot, the PCSO said secondary prizes were also awarded to bettors who matched five numbers from the winning combination.

Meanwhile, there was no winner for MegaLotto 6/45, which had the winning combination 40-33-42-06-20-17 and a jackpot prize of P17,049,877.20.
