3 dead, 2 hurt as van rams houses in Quezon

Three persons were killed and two others were seriously injured when a private van crashed into homes in Barangay Abuyon, San Narciso, Quezon on Saturday afternoon.
Reports said the vehicle was on its way to Barangay Abuyon when it suddenly swerved and rammed two houses.
Victims were taken to a hospital where three of them were declared dead.
Nobody was killed or injured among people in the house.
The van and the house sustained major damage.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
Meanwhile, a 74-year-old farmer was hacked to death on Friday in Sitio Cayuma, Barangay Cawayan 1, San Francisco, Quezon.
Police said the suspect Dario and victim Roberto were having a drinking session in the house of a neighbor when a heated argument erupted.
Dario hacked Roberto with a bladed weapon called “gulokan” multiple times. Roberto died on the spot and Dario fled.
Police are tracking down Dario who faces a homicide case.
