Parañaque, Pasay, Las Piñas cities suspend classes due to bad weather
The city governments of Parañaque, Pasay, and Las Piñas announced the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools on August 22 due to bad weather.

Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez ordered the suspension of afternoon classes in public and private schools upon the recommendation of the Parañaque City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
Olivarez also advised school authorities to implement early dismissal of morning classes for the safety of students.
In Pasay City, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano also ordered the suspension of classes in all public and private schools starting at noon.
Rubiano ordered the suspension of classes upon the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
She also advised school authorities to shift to modular learning depending on the capabilities of the school to continue their activity.
In Las Piñas, Mayor April Aguilar ordered the suspension of classes due to the heavy rains being experienced in the city.
