College student gunned down in Dasma

CAVITE – A college student was shot dead in Barangay Salawag in Dasmariñas City, on Wednesday night, Aug. 20.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A identified the victim as alias Kelsey, 24.
Initial investigation showed that neighbors heard a series of gunshots and later found the body of the victim lying on the road.
Alias Kelsey sustained multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of the body.
The unidentified suspects, meanwhile, immediately fled.
Authorities found eight empty shells suspected to be from a caliber .45 firearm and one bullet slug at the crime scene.
The police requested the scene of the crime operatives to process the area, and have also been examining CCTV footage.
A dragnet operation has been launched for the arrest of the suspects.
