Woman shot dead in Manila

A woman was killed by an unidentified suspect on Lope De Vega Street in Barangay 312, Sta. Cruz, Manila early Thursday morning, Aug. 21.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), the woman was shot dead by the suspect at around 1 a.m.
The woman was shot twice in the head, killing her instantly.
Authorities said the victim works as a prostitute near the area and sometimes as an asset of the police.
The MPD is still investigating the incident.
