Red Velvet member Wendy coming to Manila for solo world tour

K-pop artist Wendy of girl group Red Velvet will be coming to Manila for her first solo world tour. 

On her X account, Wendy announced on Aug. 21 that she will hold her “W:EALIVE” 1st World Tour in Manila on Jan. 17 next year. Based on the announcement, Manila is the last stop of the tour.  

“Queen is coming! Wendy in Manila, Are you ready to feel alive?” local promoter L-Squared Productions posted on X. 

Wendy will kick off the world tour in Seoul at Jangchung Arena on Sept. 20 and 21.

In line with this, Wendy will make her comeback in September with the release of a new album after about a year and six months. She released her “Wish You Hell” album in March last year.

This will also be her first album under ASND. 

"We are putting our heart and soul into preparing for Wendy's new song release and concert. We ask for your interest and anticipation for Wendy's new look this September," said ASND, Korean media reported. 

Wendy debuted in Red Velvet in 2014.
