The Southern Police District (SPD) Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Parañaque City Police, conducted a buy-bust operation which led to the arrest of four drug suspects, tagged as high-value-individuals (HVIs), and seized over P2 million worth of drugs on Wednesday, August 20.

The SPD said the suspects were identified as Lex, 29; Yans, 34; Ali, 45; and Giann, 29, a female, all are classified as HVIs. They were arrested at around 4:45 p.m. at Ninoy Aquino Avenue, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque.
The police said SPD-DEU conducted a buy-bust operation targeting Lex, reported to be notorious for his illegal drugs activities. The three other suspects were reportedly with Lex during the arrest made by the police.
The police recovered 300 grams of shabu worth P2,040,000, one long white envelope, a blue Intel analog cellular phone, an iPhone, and the P1,000 cash used as buy-bust money.
The suspects were detained at the SPD custodial facility and will face charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The confiscated drugs were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for laboratory analysis.
