Melona meets milk tea in Serenitea's Korean sips
The teashop teams up with Binggrae for a playful lineup of limited-edition drinks

Serenitea is taking inspiration from South Korea’s most nostalgic treats. The homegrown teashop has partnered with Binggrae, the brand behind the cult-favorite Melona ice cream and flavored milk, to launch Korean Sips, a lineup of drinks available only until Oct. 15.
The collaboration brings three limited-edition creations to Serenitea stores nationwide. Each cup draws from Binggrae’s sweet and creamy flavors while keeping Serenitea’s signature tea base in play.
On the menu is the Taro Ube Melona (P185, medium), which blends Serenitea’s taro slush with a full bar of Binggrae’s Ube Melona ice cream. There is also the Strawberry Milk Taho (P190, large), a playful take on the Filipino classic that layers soy custard and brown sugar syrup with Binggrae’s Strawberry Milk. Rounding out the trio is the Cacao with Chestnut Frost (P185, large), where rich cacao meets Binggrae’s Chestnut Milk for a nutty, chocolate-forward drink.
Binggrae’s products have long been part of South Korea’s snack culture, from its pastel-colored flavored milks to Melona ice cream bars that gained international recognition. By weaving those flavors into its drinks, Serenitea joins the wave of K-inspired collaborations that blend food nostalgia with local tastes.
Serenitea, which opened in 2008 and helped spark the milk tea trend in the Philippines, now has more than 60 branches. Its Korean Sips line is available in stores and through food delivery platforms until supplies last.
