'Day of Rejuvenation' for Ilocos Sur prov'l gov't employees set

The provincial government of Ilocos Sur has scheduled Friday, Aug. 22, as “Day of Rejuvenation” for its employees to enable them to prepare for the week ahead.
“We wish to inform the public that on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, the provincial government will observe a Day of Rejuvenation," the provincial government said in a Facebook post.
"This initiative allows our employees to rest, recharge, and return to work with renewed focus towards public service and for the upcoming strategic planning sessions," it added.
The provincial government will have an extended long weekend as Aug. 21 is Ninoy Aquino Day, a special non-working day, and Aug. 25 is National Heroes Day, a regular holiday.
Work resumes on Tuesday, Aug. 26, the provincial government said.
