Belle Mariano on working with Donny Pangilinan: 'I will always treasure what we do together'
New-gen phenomenal actress and singer Belle Mariano expressed her enjoyment of working with fellow Kapamilya star Donny Pangilinan, her partner in the DonBelle love team.
"We already have that dynamic on the set. It feels nice to work with him, and we got to witness each other's growth. That's something I love. I love to grow with him, too, and I love to venture (into new things)," said Belle during the “Forever Kapamilya: Born To Shine” contract signing event last Aug. 18.
Belle added, "It makes me feel proud that we started with DonBelle five years ago, and now he's doing other projects. I will always treasure what we do together."
At the renewal of her contract for the Kapamilya Network, Belle thanked those who supported her in showbiz.
"Salamat po to our ABS-CBN bosses, thank you for making ABS-CBN a home for me. To everyone supportive of my journey, I dedicate all these years to you,” she said.
Present at the contract signing were ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO Cory Vidanes, group CFO Rick Tan, and entertainment production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, and Star Magic manager Edith Fariñas.
Belle turned emotional as she looked back on her 14 years in the showbiz industry, from being a child actress to becoming one of this generation's biggest stars.
“Don’t let your fear stop you from pursuing what you love doing. Yes, you will fall, but you will also rise. Just keep believing and have the heart and faith in you because you will achieve great things, and you are capable of many things,” she reflected.
The homegrown artist, who captivated viewers last year with her hit series "Can't Buy Me Love" and "How To Spot A Red Glad," is set to star in the upcoming Star Cinema film “Meet, Greet & Bye” with Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Juan Karlos Labajo, and Maricel Soriano.
She is also gearing up for another album with record label StarPop, following her previous hit releases “Daylight,” “Solemn,” “And Somber,” and “Believe."
