"Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair" returns to Manila, highlighting the 'Waves of Wonder' as a go-to destination for Filipinos

The annual Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair is set to provide Filipinos a glimpse of the allure of the 'Waves of Wonder' once again as it returns to Manila for a two-day event in Robinsons Galleria on August 30-31, 2025.
Organized by the Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila, the Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair targets to boost Taiwan as a destination staple for travelers with a showcase of the country's rich culture, diverse food scene, and captivating attractions, enticing Filipinos to make the 'Waves of Wonder' their second home.
The Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila, located in Makati, partnered with leading travel companies and agencies to offer travelers a chance to explore Taiwan with exclusive deals and curated tour packages.
Exhibitors at the event include China Airlines, EVA Air, BF Travel and Tour Inc, Amkor Travel & Tours Inc., Everbright Travel & Tours Inc., Sole Destinations Travel, and Jeron Travel and Tours Corp.
Admission to the Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair is free, allowing mall-goers and visitors to enjoy immersive booth experiences, fun games, and exciting raffle prizes. Guest influencers will also be sharing their unforgettable experiences traveling in Taiwan at the event.
Director of Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila, Cindy Chen, shared that the Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair aims to attract more Filipinos to travel to Taiwan as it taps into the growing number of tourists frequenting the country.
"This year's Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair highlights an information center. It's the first time that we're doing this in our Manila leg," Chen said. "Throughout, our commitment at Taiwan Tourism Administration remains the same. We want to continually foster tourism and cultural collaboration between Taiwan and the Philippines."
"Taiwan is a beautiful country. We aim to inspire Filipino travelers to discover its wonders, fall in love with the 'Waves of Wonder' through the Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair, then come back to the Philippines as stewards of stronger tourism ties," Chen added.
The Philippines emerged as the top source of visitors to Taiwan among Southeast Asian countries with 260,212 Filipino Travelers from January to May 2025, according to the Taiwan Tourism Administration.
