Over P3M drugs seized, 5 suspects nabbed in Parañaque buy-bust

Five drug suspects were arrested by members of the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and seized from them over P3 million of drugs during the conduct of a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, August 19.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as Christian,28, Symon, 29, both tagged by the police as High-Value Individuals (HVI), Renmer, 26, Jackylyn, 21, and Christine, 26, all classified as Street-Level Individuals (SLI). They were arrested in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

The SPD confiscated from the suspects 200 grams of suspected ketamine worth P1,100,000, 1,000 grams of marijuana kush worth P700,000, 500 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P60,000, and 791 suspected ecstasy tablets worth P1,344,700. The confiscated drugs were valued at P3 million.

The SDPD said further checks made by the SDEU operatives also recovered high-grade marijuana worth P16,800, several packs of ecstasy tablets in various colors, the buy-bust money, a weighing scale, a storage box, a black bag, and a cellular phone used in the transaction.

The suspects were detained at the SDEU custodial facility after their arrest and were charged with illegal possession of drugs.
