CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police nabbed 66 wanted persons in the Cordillera region from Aug. 10 to 16.
The Baguio City Police Office captured 24 wanted persons, followed by the Benguet PPO with 18; Abra PPO with six; Apayao, Ifugao, and Kalinga PPOs with five each, and Mountain Province PPO with three.
Thirteen were most wanted persons—four on the regional level, four on the provincial level, and five on the municipal level.
Due to increased police presence and quick response, 54 municipalities and five police stations in Baguio City reported zero crime incidents during the same period.
There were no recorded crimes in 18 municipalities in Abra; 10 in Ifugao; nine in Mountain Province; six each in Benguet and Kalinga, and five in Apayao.
Police Stations 1, 6, 8, 9, and 10 of the Baguio City Police Office also achieved zero crime incidents.
The Police Regional Office-Cordillera recorded a 76.27 percent Crime Clearance Efficiency and 74.58 percent Crime Solution Efficiency, reflecting the diligent efforts of police officers in investigating and resolving reported incidents throughout the region.
