Barangay Poblacion in Muntinlupa becomes fifth most populous in NCR
Poblacion in Muntinlupa has emerged as the fifth most populous barangay in the National Capital Region (NCR).
This was based on the 2024 Census of Population conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority.
Data showed that Barangay Poblacion has a total population of 124,554, the only barangay in southern Metro Manila in the top 10.
Commonwealth in Quezon City is No. 1 with a population of 215,035, followed by Pinagbuhatan (Pasig), 173,576; Batasan Hills (Quezon City), 168,770; and Payatas (Quezon City), 141,998.
Poblacion encompasses the New Bilibid Prison Reservation and Katarungan Village.
Based on the census, Muntinlupa has a total population of 552,000 people, up from 543,000 in the 2010 census.
