Toyota now offers Yaris Cross HEV SE variant

  • Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has added a new top-tier variant to its Yaris Cross lineup with the introduction of the Yaris Cross SE Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), positioned as the sportiest version in the range.
Toyota adds some sporting character to the Yaris Cross lineup with the introduction of the Yaris Cross SE Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). Positioned as the sportiest version in the range, the SE HEV improves upon the S HEV variant by combining additional styling elements and digital features with the former's hybrid drivetrain. This is the new top-tier variant in the Yaris Cross lineup.

The Yaris Cross SE features exclusive exterior enhancements, including dynamic front and rear skirts, a roof spoiler, and refined garnishes on the bumpers, back door, fog lamps, and grille. Chrome accents on the rear bumper and a redesigned front bumper with grille garnish further distinguish the SE from other variants.
Inside, the SE variant incorporates a digital rearview mirror with integrated front and rear Digital Video Recorder (DVR) functionality, additional ambient lighting, and a digital signal processor for improved audio quality. An upgraded horn rounds out the subtle interior refinements. As with other higher variants in the Yaris Cross range, the SE comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense, offering advanced driver assistance features.
Under the hood, the Yaris Cross SE retains the hybrid powertrain found in other HEV variants, designed to deliver both fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The 2NR-VEX 1.5-liter engine pushing out 91 PS and 121 Nm of torque is paired with an 80 PS motor generator for a total power output of 111 PS. Toyota describes the SE HEV as offering a sportier edge, a smarter drive, and a more sustainable ride, while maintaining the brand’s reputation for reliability. The SE is positioned to appeal to those seeking a blend of urban style, modern features, and efficiency.
The Yaris Cross SE HEV is now available at Toyota dealerships nationwide, with a starting price of ₱1,690,000. Customers can also view details and explore the vehicle online through TMP's official website.
