New Albay police chief installed

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – Police Col. Noel Nuñez is the new Albay Police Provincial Office (PPO) chief.
He succeeded Police Col. Julius Añonuevo.

The turnover of command was held on Monday morning in Camp Simeon Ola here.
Philippine National Police-Bicol Director Police Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr. presided over the ceremony.
Nuñez was previously assigned to the Investigation Division of the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (HPG).
His appointment was part of the PNP’s regular personnel movement to further strengthen operational efficiency and enhance public service delivery in the region.
Añonuevo was recognized for his leadership and contributions to law enforcement during his tenure.
