2. Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito,
3. Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada,
4. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go,
5. Rodante Marcoleta,
6. Imee R. Marcos,
7. Raffy Tulfo,
8. Joel Villanueva, and

Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, who was initially included in the list of the new CA members, made a manifestation to temporarily withdraw his name from the nominations after Senate Minority Leader Vicente Sotto III questioned the non-inclusion of any member of the Senate minority bloc in the powerful appointments body.
Cayetano said he understands Sotto’s objection and agreed to temporarily withdraw his name from the list to allow diversity in the representation in the CA, which he said is very important.
Cayetano said this would give the Senate more time to discuss the representation of the CA and the interpretation of the Supreme Court regarding the composition of the CA.
Sotto had argued that the SC has decided that should there be any controversy in the composition of the CA, it is clear that the “Senate must follow party lines and party representation.”
