Tempur celebrates 20 years of sleep innovation

To celebrate 20 years of redefining sleep in the Philippines, Tempur invited media and key opinion leaders on August 7, 2025, to “Run. Dine. Recline”—a one-day immersive lifestyle experience that brought the brand’s philosophy to life through movement, wellness, and rest. Special guests included Mylene Dizon, Jason Webb, Melissa Gohing, Rocco Nacino, Derrick Monasterio, and Winwyn Marquez, among others.
The event began with a light 2.6 km community run around Uptown Mall, held in partnership with Uptown Run Club, encouraging movement as a key part of overall well-being. After the run, guests were treated to a nourishing post-run recovery meal beside the Uptown Tempur Cinema. Reclining on Tempur’s adjustable beds and pillows, the guests were surrounded by soothing scents from Young Living, a meditative sound bath by Muni Philippines, and a calming “Pillow Talk” bedtime storytelling session.
Just as they began to ease into deep relaxation, a surprise twist was revealed: The No Sleep Challenge, a playful test where guests had to fight off sleep while surrounded by ultimate comfort, and the last one left awake would win the grand prize, a Tempur mattress. Some guests tried their best to stay awake, but cozy comfort quickly took over.
“The mattress was so comfortable, and the ambiance was perfect for resting—I dozed off right away,” shared Onemig Macandile, one of the first to nod off and the winner of the Instant Snoozer Award. A few effectively battled their sleepiness and stayed awake to win, so the Tempur mattress was raffled off, with Bianca Reinoso emerging as the lucky winner.
Tempur also held its biggest sale of the year this August, with all items on sale at 20 percent off and buy one take one on select pillows. Shoppers can also avail of exclusive gifts with purchase, value bundles, and anniversary deals, making it the perfect time to invest in premium comfort.
