Mayor Emi spends birthday with Pasay City's children

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto Rubiano spent time with more than 500 children at Star City for a day of fun days before she turns 65 on Aug. 16.

Rubiano said the smiles on the faces of the children filled her heart with happiness.
She said her birthday celebration every year is spent with the youth who are part of her “Tapat at Higit sa Sapat na Paglilingkod (Honest and more than enough service).” 
The mayor said Jollibee and Hetty Spaghetti, the famous mascots of the fast food chain, played with the children.
Rubiano said that the only gift she wants on her birthday is to see the city's children happy and healthy. She also distributed toys and food to them.
