Man steals mini LPG stove from Tondo, Manila house

A case of theft occurred in Barangay 210, Tondo, Manila on Thursday night, Aug. 14, after a man stole a mini LPG stove from a house he frequently visits.

According to the complainant, her older sister was about to cook breakfast when she noticed that their LPG stove was missing.

The complainant reviewed the CCTV footage of their house and saw the suspect climbing up the stairs and taking the stove before escaping.

She explained that they usually leave their house door unlocked as a lot of people live inside the compound.

Ironically, the suspect himself was the one who installed the CCTV cameras inside the house and also works as a handyman for the victim's family.

Barangay 210 officials said the suspect is a repeat offender of crimes, including robbery and even grave threat after pulling out a knife at a minor he had an argument with.

The man is also said to be included in the barangay's drug watchlist.

The police have launched a manhunt operation against the suspect.
