Love all, serve all: Hard Rock Cafe reaches out to typhoon-affected families

On July 24, Hard Rock Cafe Manila extended support to families affected by Typhoon Emong and the heavy monsoon rains in Pasay City by preparing and distributing hot meals.
The initiative was carried out by the restaurant’s staff, who embodied Hard Rock Cafe’s long-standing mottos, “Love All, Serve All” and “Take Time to Be Kind.” A total of 300 meals were prepared and shared with members of the community who were dealing with the effects of flooding and other disruptions caused by the weather.
The program reflected the restaurant’s commitment to respond not only as a dining destination but also as a partner to the community during times of difficulty. The effort demonstrated how hospitality organizations can play a role in disaster relief, using their resources and manpower to address immediate needs such as food assistance.
Typhoon Emong, along with the intensified southwest monsoon or habagat, brought heavy rains that affected several parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila. Pasay was among the communities impacted, with families experiencing flooded streets and difficult conditions.
Hard Rock Cafe Manila’s response provided relief through warm meals, offering both sustenance and a reminder of solidarity to those who received them. While modest in scale, the effort underscored the impact that timely outreach can have in disaster-affected areas.
By mobilizing its team and dedicating time and resources to the project, the restaurant translated its slogans into direct action. “Love All, Serve All” and “Take Time to Be Kind” served as guiding principles for the staff as they carried out the initiative.
