The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (Philippines), Inc. (FICCI) has vowed to further strengthen the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation between India and the Philippines through deeper partnerships in trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
The FICCI gave the commitment as it joined the Republic of India in celebrating their 79th Independence Day on Friday, August 15.
“This historic day stands as a testament to India’s remarkable journey of courage, unity, and progress—a journey that continues to inspire nations worldwide,” the FICCI said in a statement.
“As the world’s largest democracy and one of the fastest-growing global economies, India exemplifies resilience, innovation, and inclusive growth, paving the way for a brighter future for its people and the world community,” it added.
Officers and members of FICCI Philippines joined their Indian colleagues, partners, and the Indian business community in celebrating the milestone.
“We reaffirm our commitment to further strengthening the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation between India and the Philippines, fostering deeper partnerships in trade, investment, and cultural exchange,” they said.
“May this Independence Day honor the sacrifices of the past, celebrate the achievements of today, and inspire future generations. Happy Independence Day, India. Jai Hind!” the FICCI said.
