The “European Poultry – From Our Farms to Your Table” booth showcased certified poultry from the European Union at WOFEX Manila 2025, held Aug. 6 to 9. The four-day event brought together industry leaders, trade partners and consumers for discussions, product insights and business connections.
European poultry took the spotlight in Manila with the launch of “European Poultry – From Our Farms to Your Table,” a three-year campaign supported by the European Union. The initiative, introduced on August 7, aims to showcase how European poultry can inspire both chefs and home cooks in the Philippines.
Kamila Cicherska-Borońska, a quality certification expert, said the EU’s production methods deliver poultry that is flavorful, versatile, and reliable for professional and household kitchens.
“When you combine premium quality with strict food safety standards, you give chefs and consumers the freedom to be creative without compromise,” she said.
Dariusz Goszczyński, president of the National Poultry Council – Chamber of Commerce, pointed to the EU’s farm-to-fork system as the reason for this consistency.
“From feed composition to processing, every detail is designed to produce poultry that performs exceptionally in every recipe,” he said.
