3 hurt as coconut oil tanker rams 4 vehicles in Manila
Three individuals were reportedly injured after a coconut oil tanker crashed into four vehicles at Mabini Bridge in Manila on Friday afternoon, Aug. 15.

The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) said one of the injured was a motorcycle driver involved in the collision, while the other victims have already received initial medical treatment.
According to initial investigations, the truck driver reportedly lost control after its brakes failed, causing it to ram the motorcycle and three other cars ahead.
Due to the impact, the DRRMO said the front of the truck was badly damaged after scraping the side of the bridge.
The accident caused heavy traffic in the area.
