Man arrested for breaking window, stealing valuables from parked SUV in Sampaloc
Around P40,000 worth of cash and valuables was stolen by a man after he broke the glass window of a parked SUV in Sampaloc, Manila.

The Manila Police District (MPD) said the incident happened around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12.
The suspect, identified as alias “Buboy,” a resident of Sampaloc, was caught on CCTV approaching the vehicle.
Wearing a helmet to conceal his identity, he was seen smashing the vehicle's window, entering the SUV, and later walking away with the stolen items.
The vehicle owner only discovered the break-in around 5 a.m., upon noticing that the glass window was broken.
MPD Sampaloc station officers were able to track down the suspect’s location by backtracking the CCTV footage around the area.
A follow-up operation was launched which resulted in his arrest on August 13.
The suspect is currently detained at MPD Station 4 and is facing theft charges.
Authorities said a background check is underway to determine if he is linked to other similar incidents in the area.
