Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the soft launching of the unified PWD ID system held at the city government hall was led by the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA), Pasay City Social Welfare and Development, and Pasay City Persons with Disability Office (PDAO) on Wednesday, August 13.
Rubiano extended her gratitude to the NCDA program, which was represented by Undersecretary Fatima Aliah Dimaporo, for making sure that PWDs in the city are accorded better services.
She said the city’ PWDs are part of her administration's “Tapat at Higit pa sa Sapat na Paglilingkod” brand of public service.
The mayor also said the unified PWD ID system will help streamline the identification process for all members, improve data gathering, and will make it more convenient and faster to determine the needs and benefits of the PWDs.
Rubiano said PWDs applying for the unified PWD ID may visit the PDAO located at the Pasay City Astrodome or call the Pasay City Hall Trunkline 888-72729 to apply.
