Man shoots nephew during heated argument

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A 19-year-old man was allegedly shot and wounded by his uncle during a heated argument here on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Police said the victim, Arnel, sustained a bullet wound in the head.

Investigation said the suspect Hassan shot the victim during a confrontation over theft allegations.

Hassan fled and Arnel was taken to a hospital.

Police recovered a bullet slug in the crime scene.

Follow-up and manhunt operations are ongoing.
