DigiPlus' profit soars, fueled by online gaming growth
Philippine online gaming market leader DigiPlus Interactive Corp. reported a 61 percent surge in net income to a record ₱8.4 billion for the first six months of the year after it continued to grow its player base and add more games to its platform.
“The company’s performance reflects continued growth in its retail games segment, as well as contributions from new product offerings and operational efficiencies,” the firm said in its disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Total revenues rose 47 percent to ₱47.78 billion from ₱32.56 billion in the first semester last year, supported by increased business activity and the rollout of new games and licenses approved by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor)
EBITDA for the first half reached ₱9.09 billion, a 65 percent jump from ₱5.51 billion a year ago. In the first half of 2025, DigiPlus remitted ₱18.4 billion in government taxes and regulatory fees.
For the second quarter alone, net income was ₱4.20 billion, representing a 30 percent year-on-year increase. Revenues reached ₱24.71 billion, up 31 percent, while EBITDA rose 32 percent to ₱4.50 billion, driven by new game offerings across DigiPlus’ platforms.
As the Philippine online gambling industry undergoes heightened scrutiny and legislative review, DigiPlus assumed a wider industry role in leading the fight against illegal gambling and championing a safer and more sustainable online gambling industry for the Filipino nation.
On August 7, 2025, DigiPlus joined the Interim Council of the PlaySafe Alliance of the Philippines, which was formally signed into agreement by 19 founding organizations.
“This alliance is not about competition—it’s about collaboration. By working as one, we can ensure that online gambling in the Philippines becomes more secure, transparent, and beneficial to both players and the nation,” said alliance founding member DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco
In a currently evolving regulatory landscape, DigiPlus believes that collaboration and transparency are essential to fostering a safer, more sustainable industry that benefits players, stakeholders, and the broader Filipino community.
