Three men and a woman were arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Aug. 12.
The operation was conducted by the District Drug Enforcement Unit of the Southern Police District together with the District Intelligence Division and Taguig police’s Substation 6 in Barangay South Signal, Taguig.
The arrested suspects were identified as alias Roko, 43; alias Daud, 49; alias Nasrudin,” 41; and alias Ana, 21, all classified as high-value individuals in the illegal drug trade.
At about 9:50 p.m., police operatives closed the deal and seized five plastic sachets containing 250 grams of shabu valued at P1.7 million, P1,000 bill and 49 pieces of P1,000 boodle money bills used as buy-bust money, a mobile phone, and a car.
The illegal drugs and other evidence were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit.
The police will file a complaint against the four suspects for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) before the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, SPD acting district director, lauded the police operation.
