A member of the LGBTQ community was stabbed to death in Lipa City, Batangas over the weekend.
Police identified the victim as Jericho Elliorante.

Elliorante, a 25-year-old newly crowned LGBTQ pageant winner in Barangay Sambat, Tanauan City, Batangas, sustained 13 stab wounds.
His body was found at around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, in front of a chapel in Purok 3, Barangay Tangway.
Closed-circuit television footage showed a tricycle arriving in the area, after which a man peeped into an alley and walked towards the victim’s body and took his wallet.
Police arrested the suspect, Paul, 26, in a follow-up operation.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
