Lending collector survives robbery-holdup

ZAMBOANGA CITY -- A lending company collector was stabbed and left for dead during a robbery-holdup here last Tuesday.

The victim Erwin Camanlaan was stabbed four times by suspects.

The suspects, believing he was dead, pushed him off a cliff and left.

Camanlaan mustered the strength to crawl towards the road and sought help.

Passersby rushed him to the hospital.

His personal belongings and motorcycle were missing.

It was not immediately known if the suspects carted his motorcycle away.

Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
