6 yield over P570,000 shabu in Rizal buy-bust ops

Six people were arrested in two buy-bust operations in San Mateo, Rizal that resulted in the confiscation of P572,560 worth of shabu.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said the first operation was conducted in Barangay Sto. Niño, which led to the arrest of alias Elboy, 28, and alias King, 31. Both are tagged as high-value individuals (HVIs) for illegal drugs by the police.

The two yielded 42 grams of shabu worth P285,000.

The other operation was held in Barangay Banaba, resulting in the arrest of four other drug suspects identified as alias Michael, alias Malou, alias Jojie, and alias Utching. 

The four were also identified as HVIs by the arresting officers.

Confiscated from them are 42.20 grams of shabu worth P286,960 and other drug paraphernalia.

All six suspects were detained at the San Mateo Police Custodial Facility and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
