CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Administrative Region was awarded as the Best Police Regional Office for 2024 during the 124th Police Service Anniversary in Camp Crame, Quezon City, on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
PRO-Cordillera chief Police Brig. Gen. Ericson Dilag received the award from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., guest of honor and speaker.
THE Police Regional Office-Cordillera Administrative Region led by Police Brig. Gen. Ericson Dilag was named the Best Police Regional Office during the 124th Police Service Anniversary in Camp Crame, Quezon City. Awarding PRO-CAR was President Marcos.
Dilag said the honor reflects PRO-CAR’s exceptional performance, professionalism, and unwavering service to the Cordillera people and the nation.

This year’s anniversary carried the theme “Pulisya, Bantayog ng Bayang Matatag” which underscored the Philippine National Police’s unwavering commitment to public safety and service.
Units and personnel from the PRO-Cordillera vied for major awards that underscored the region’s consistent excellence and competitiveness in police service on the national level – Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) for Best PPO, La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS) for Best MPS, 2nd Benguet Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) for Best PMFC;
Police Col. Francisco Bulwayan Jr., Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration, Police Col. Ruel Tagel for the Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) for Operations, Police Lt. Col. Geraldine Aydoc for Best Junior PCO for Administration, Police Master Sgt. Jaynus Puno for Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer (PNCO) for Administration, and NUP Defiena Sagayo for Best Non-Uniformed Personnel for Non-Supervisory Level.
