Police nab man for possession of shabu in Taguig

The Taguig police arrested a man identified as a new street-level individual after he was found in possession of shabu on Aug. 11. 

The suspect was identified as alias Nino, 46, who was arrested by the police in Barangay New Lower Bicutan. 

During the operation, the Taguig police seized a plastic sachet containing shabu, weighing 24.9 grams, and valued at P169,320 

The police will submit the illegal drugs to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.

Authorities brought the suspect to the police station for documentation and filing of a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
