P1.4-M shabu seized from 2 drug suspects in Rizal

A total of P1,428,000 worth of shabu was confiscated from two suspects during a buy-bust operation in Rodriguez, Rizal, early Tuesday, Aug. 12.
The Rodriguez Municipal Police Station (MPS) identified the suspects as “Michael,” tagged as a high-value individual (HVI), and “John John,” listed as a street-level individual (SLI).
They were arrested in Barangay Geronimo at around 2:20 a.m. during an operation conducted by the Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of the Rodriguez MPS in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Seized from them were 210 grams of shabu and other drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said the suspects were brought to the Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit for drug testing, while the recovered drug evidence was sent for forensic examination.
