Some, if not most, homeowners dream of having a generous lot while still enjoying the privacy they need. This enclave offers space to plan, build, and grow for the long term—set on elevated terrain in Buhangin, Davao City, with sweeping views of nature. This is Northtown Residences 5, the newest development from Alsons Development and Investment Corporation.
Northtown Residences 5 marks the most exclusive phase of Northtown—an eight-hectare masterplanned township that blends residential, commercial, and institutional spaces into one integrated community—with only 91 lots starting at 300 square meters. It offers low-density living at just 12 lots per hectare, with more than half of the area dedicated to roads, landscaped lanes, open spaces, and amenities. Many lots are located along single-loaded roads, giving residents added privacy, open views, and no rear neighbors, along with scenic vistas of Northtown, the Mandug plains, and the Magtuod hills.
Jeanette P. Cabaya, senior project officer at Alsons Dev, said the development was designed to set a new standard for suburban living in the city. “Northtown Residences 5 is envisioned to redefine premier suburban living in Davao City. The property’s natural terrain and orientation created opportunities for larger lots, enhanced privacy, and scenic views for selected lots, resulting in a more exclusive residential enclave.”

As part of the township, Northtown Residences 5 offers access to a 2.5-hectare clubhouse with pools, sports courts, function halls, and parks; retail hubs such as CityMall Northtown; and essential facilities including the Public Safety and Security Complex. Landscaped walkways, tree-lined streets, and bike lanes encourage wellness and reduce car dependency, while wide roads and a prime location bring city conveniences without the congestion. Backed by Alsons Dev’s 60-year track record, it continues the company’s commitment to building secure, well-planned communities where residents can put down roots and thrive.
Miguel Rene A. Dominguez, president and CEO of Alsons Dev, framed the project as a long-term commitment. “Northtown Residences 5 represents the next chapter in our commitment to building communities that stand the test of time, anticipating the evolving aspirations of today’s homeowners. This expansion is purposefully designed for those who value a place where people can feel rooted, find balance, and grow with confidence. It’s where they can build a future anchored on space, serenity, and long-term value.”
With this newest phase, Northtown becomes more than just a residential address, it becomes a true community. And as Alsons Dev continues to grow the township with the same integrity and vision it has upheld for decades, one thing remains certain, the best is yet to come.
