Quadlips takes center stage

  • Quadlips is coming back to Manila soon to share more of their music.
Multi-cultural girl group Quadlips is slowly making their presence felt across Asia.
Composed of Feni (JKT48 – Jakarta), Hina (SKE48 – Nagoya), Cole (MNL48 – Manila), and Fame (BNK48 – Bangkok), the group is united in their love and passion for music.
In a Zoom interview, the group shared how proud they are to represent their country as part of the group. 
"As a group composed of members from different countries, Indonesia, Japan, Thai, and the Philippines, we come from different stages, and it feels like we're always carrying our country, our culture, our roots, and our dreams with us. So it's a big responsibility, but also such an honor," Cole mentioned.
Meanwhile, Feni shared how she has been learning a lot from her group-mates, which makes their bond stronger.
''Becoming a QALYS member, we learn a lot about our friends' home. I learn how to speak Tagalog, and I learn how to speak Japanese, and I learn how to speak Thai. It's really important for me, like, at a young age, that we learn a lot.  It's really important. Maybe when we grow up later, and we're already old, we will have a lot of stories to tell our children," she maintained.

The girls also shared some memorable moments from their recent Asian tour.
"I think every country that we go to holds a special memory for us. Like, when we went to Japan for the second time for a fan meet. Oh my gosh, our fans have grown in number! Maybe right now it's not big enough for some but for us, it's really important and makes our hearts feel warm. It's like, oh my gosh, we can make people smile, we can make positive energy for them," Fame mentioned.
Quadlips is coming back to Manila soon to share more of their music.

The group will also perform their latest singles at select mall shows, providing an opportunity for Filipino fans to hobnob with them.
